Janet McAfee Inc. is the largest independently owned luxury real estate broker in St. Louis. In November, 2008, Edward L. Bakewell, Inc., a prominent real estate broker with 51 sales associates combined with Janet McAfee Inc. to create the premier agency serving clients throughout the metropolitan area. Janet McAfee Inc. was started in 1975 by Janet McAfee Weakley and has grown to more than 150 sales associates, fourth largest in the region. Edward L. Bakewell, owned and operated by the founder's granddaughter, Sarah Bakewell has been a highly respected name in residential real estate since 1910.
Locally owned and operated, Janet McAfee Inc. enjoys a national and international presence through affiliations including Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, the largest affiliation of independent real estate brokers nationwide, Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate and Luxury Portfolio Fine Property Collection.
