Property Marketing
Chuck Roper heads our marketing team. He works with your agent to produce a complete advertising and marketing program for each listing. Professional photography and rich copy are combined to produce exceptional brochures, print ads and direct mail. Kelly Kirk and Jamie Godar manage internet marketing on several leading web sites and place our advertising in local newspapers and magazines.
Closing
Mary Beth Gold, Closing Manager and 18 year veteran, reviews every contract and works with your agent and title company to satisfy contingencies and manage deadlines. "My job is to help our clients avoid last minute surprises. Every closing should be seamless."
Technology
Responsible for business operations since 1987, Vice President, Marty von Weise knows how to keep operations running. She equips the office with new technology to improve productivity and allow agents to quickly access information.
Relocation
Janet McAfee is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, Luxury Portfolio and Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate. We work with corporate relocation, providing full service home finding assistance for 3rd party relocation companies. These responsibilities fall under the guidance of Mike Adkins, Relocation Director.
Management
Our President, Ted Thornhill has been with Janet McAfee since 1982. Ted grew up with real estate, working for his father's brokerage ever since he can remember. Ted has served in various capacities with the local real estate board and MLS. Janet Horlacher, Principal and Executive Vice President joined Janet McAfee in 1995 following a career in consumer products marketing. Janet's mother, Janet McAfee Weakley founded the company in 1974 so real estate has always been a part of her life.
Cathy Noll joined the company with the consolidation of Edward L. Bakewell, where she was general office manager. Her experience and expert advice supports agents with all aspects of their business transactions.
