BALLWIN, MANCHESTER and ELLISVILLE

Directly west, the city of Ellisville is a community of approximately 9,100 residents. Ellisville was incorporated in 1932 and remained a village until 1993, when voters approved a Home Rule Charter. The city has parkland totaling over 230 acres, which means there is approximately one acre of parkland for nearly every 40 residents. Eleven parks, connected by trails, weave through residential neighborhoods and business developments. Ellisville is in the Rockwood school district.
