CRESTWOOD and SUNSET HILLS
Southwest of St. Louis along the Interstate Highway 44 corridor lie the residential communities of Crestwood and Sunset Hills. The cities are home to suburban neighborhoods, shopping malls, parks and recreation facilities and excellent schools. Many new luxury homes and single family home subdivisions are being built in Sunset Hills, while low crime and friendly residents make these communities desirable places to live.
Sunset Hills boasts over 70 acres of park land, encompassing undisturbed nature with hiking trails and scenic overlooks of the Meramec River, as well as recreational facilities, swimming, tennis, golf, ball fields, playgrounds and picnic shelters. Tapawingo National Golf Club, a Gary Player course, has 27 championship holes amidst a spectacular natural setting and luxury home development.
Sunset Hills is served by both the Lindbergh and Kirkwood school districts, and is home to The Thomas Jefferson School, a private college preparatory institution for grades 7 through 12. The Lindbergh public school district, which serves the majority area, consistently ranks among the best in St. Louis County.
The City of Crestwood boasts the lowest property tax rates and best municipal services in St. Louis County. A wide selection of singe-family housing stock, primarily built in the mid to late 1960's, provide the foundation for stable, safe neighborhoods.
