Red Cedar Inn is on the registry of National Historic Places. Built in 1934 it opened the same year as Rt. 66. It has been owned and operated by the family of brothers Jimmy and Bill Smith since. The building has been completely renovated for use as office/retail or other commercial use. It could be returned to a restaurant with the addition of a commercial kitchen. Red Cedar Inn has been featured in numerous television news, travel documentaries, print articles, movies and is famous worldwide as a Rt 66 attraction. Google it or pick up any Rt. 66 travel guide and see for yourself. Old Rt. 66 is heavily traveled and is a great location for many uses. The integrity of the dinning room and bar were maintained during the renovation as well as the patio and outside areas.
